Purley Cross Retail Park Success Story.

Osprey built and installed a major high-powered charging hub in London in December 2021 as part of a site redevelopment (Nuveen/Reef Group) to include Aldi, Starbucks and Smyths Toys. The retail park is highly prominent on the Purley Way, a major arterial route into London.

Osprey chargers accept contactless bank cards as standard and require no membership or account, whilst also allowing customers access to subscription payment through the Osprey App and fleet drivers to use AllStar, New Motion and alternative roaming payment methods.

Powered by renewable energy the chargers can deliver around 80 miles of charge in as little as 10 minutes (depending on car and battery) on the 175kW chargers (matching the dwell time of Starbucks) whilst the 75kW chargers are more suited to customers of Aldi, Smyths Toys and established retail park tenants.
